Tasked with creating a typeface with personal significance, I chose to simulate the feeling of dyslexia in type. There are already typefaces that help users read more easily. Instead, I wanted to play with the idea of ambiguity through scrambled lines to show how reading feels.

The scribbles represent the experience of crossing out words in writing, by making the tangled lines part of the design.
INSPIRATION
The typeface communicates a feeling that can prompt empathy and understanding in people who do not have dyslexia and recognition in people who do.
